We aim to be flexible in our approach depending on budget, style, taste and preferences of the band\artist or business client. We therefore welcome a chat about your project before quoting and booking a session.
Piggyback Studios also has over 10 years of experience in live studio recordings which can then be used as the basis to build the rest of the track. Parts from the live takes can be replaced during overdubs if needed where the session has been laid out with instrument separation in mind. Live recordings can therefore be used either as raw demos or as the basis of tracks for release.
Recording and production work is now done under the brand name Electric Fields which allows our music and audio work to be highlighted through separate social media channels. It’s also the name of our sister site which was setup in 2019.
Piggyback Studios is based in Derbyshire near Burton and Swadlincote. It’s easily accessible from the A511 and within a 20 min drive from the A38\A50 crossing. Willington train station is also nearby which connects to Manchester and Burton. East Midlands Airport, A42\M42 and the M1 are also within a 20min drive.
